The Show Must Go On

Following a decision by CSULB to close the Edison Theatre temporarily after an engineering report raised questions about the building's structural integrity, California Repertory Company has responded to the challenge with typical theatrical fervor, relocating its productions to the Armory in Downtown Long Beach. Cal Rep at the Armory is located at 854 E. 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90813.

"There is something profoundly inspiring about everyone's response to a crisis," observes Artistic Director of Cal Rep, Joanne Gordon. "While it is easy to toss off platitudes like 'the show must go on,' watching our company work together to realize our artistic vision has been extraordinarily heartwarming. It has certainly renewed my belief in the power of the creative spirit."

Tickets for California Rep at the Armory are $15-20. Please contact the California Repertory box office at 562/985-5526 or 562/985-7000 to buy tickets.
